Maxwell Technical Deep Dive
The Maxwell project is focused on developing and testing our first fully student-developed liquid rocket engine, with the use of green propellants, in the UK. It is set to be incorporated in a Darwin rocket once the engine is ready. For the first hot fire test, the team has decided to use hydrogen peroxide and ethanol as propellants.
This technical deep-dive will present the current Maxwell project, Mini-Maxwell, which is a bi-propellant liquid rocket motor. Maxwell tasks are split in three teams: Ground Structures, Electronics and Propulsion.
